Hey there,
Last week I told you to pick one thing and actually do something with AI over the weekend. I hope you did! 🙂
I've spent the past few weeks inside Claude Cowork trying to understand how all the new features fit into a puzzle that made sense to me. like, Plugins, skills, connectors…
And I had this moment the other day where it finally CLICKED.
I'd been confused about it for weeks.
When do you use a skill vs. a project? When does a plugin make sense? It felt like a lot of separate features that didn't quite talk to each other.
Then I started thinking about it differently.
A plugin is a team.
Skills are the people on that team.
And you're the one who decides what they know, how they work, and what standards they follow.
Once I saw it that way, I built a full social media team plugin in one afternoon.
A copywriter, carousel creator, reel scriptwriter, content researcher + 8 more skills - all trained on my voice, my examples, my way of doing things.
My starting point is now a voice note.
I just talk about what I'm thinking and want to share and then tell the team what to make from it.
For example, yesterday I got a fever and I was able to voice note an entire presentation for an event I am doing on Monday into Claude Cowork and it created a ready-to-go slide deck in my colors, literally structuring the messages and ideas I’ve shared while laying in bed.
I made a whole video breaking down exactly how I set my Claude Cowork plugin up
But here's what really got me.
One of the members in the AI Solopreneur Club went even further than I did. He uploaded everything - his brand book, transcripts from client interviews, ICP research, every piece of copy he's ever written, social media analytics, literally every single thing he could think of about his business.
Then he had Claude build him a custom plugin with skills for his most common tasks, like writing copy, building sales pages, and creating social media content.
And then he asked Claude to give him some ideas of what other skills could be relevant for this plugin and Claude came out with amazing suggestions that are uber-personalized and relevant to his business specifically.
And the result was mind-blowing.
Because every day you go a little deeper with this tool, you find something new.
Something that wasn't obvious yesterday.
It compounds in a way that's hard to explain until you experience it.
I think this is one of those once-in-a-while tools, an ultimate leverage multiplier.
Those people who sit with it long enough to really figure it out are going to operate on a completely different level.
And I want that for you.
So inside the AI Solopreneur Club, I'm putting together a series of Claude Cowork workshops over the next few weeks.
We're going deep - building plugins, creating skills, setting up your own workflows from scratch.
If you've been curious but haven't started, this is your moment.
I'll share more details soon. But if you're already a member, keep your eyes on the community.
Until next week,
Your AI Solopreneur Bestie,
Elena
