Hi friends,
I built two dashboards this week inside Claude Cowork.
One tracks my Instagram analytics and updates itself every Monday.
The other took a CSV of my membership survey responses and turned it into a product roadmap.
Both took about 10 minutes.
This is Live Artifacts, and if you've been looking for a reason to try Cowork, this might be it.
What Is a Live Artifact?
You might already know Artifacts from Claude Chat, where you can build static mini apps and lead magnets.
Live Artifacts go waaaay further.
They connect to real data sources, pull fresh information, and can auto-update on a schedule.
We are entering a personal dashboard era 😅
Two Ways I'm Using It
Use Case 1 is for ongoing tracking of a social media platform, with automatic updates.
Use Case 2 is for making sense of data you already have, like survey responses, sales call transcripts, community questions or sales calls.
1. Instagram Analytics Dashboard
I connected Apify (free account, $5 credit on signup, not an affiliate) to Claude as a custom connector.
Then I asked Claude to pull my Instagram metrics from May 1st onward (that’s when we started our 90 Day "Unfiltered Content Challenge ) and build a visual dashboard.
It broke down engagement by post type, tracked weekly performance, surfaced my top posts, and gave me specific content feedback and suggestions.
Things like which phrases got more views, that posts with external data drive comments, and that my carousels need to be more opinionated.
Then Claude scheduled weekly auto-updates and now it refreshes every Monday morning.
You can do this for any platform: YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, Reddit, whatever you're prioritizing and that Apify has a scraper for.

2. Members Survey Dashboard
I exported a CSV of the onboarding questions (anonymized) for my membership, fed it to Claude, and asked for an interactive dashboard that helps me understand what products and content to create for my community next.
It clustered responses into themes, pulled direct quotes from members, and generated specific product ideas based on patterns in the data.
This gave me sooooo much clarity about what to build next!
So If you have any survey data, client feedback, or audience responses sitting in a spreadsheet, you already have what you need to try this.

I must say it was really fun to build them and I had to stop myself from going into the dashboard rabbit hole 😅
Here are some examples of what you could build:
Your daily personal productivity dashboard pulling from your emails and calendar.
YouTube analytics dashboard tracking which topics get the most watch time
Reddit or forum scraper pulling pain points in your niche for offer development
Client project tracker if you are managing multiple clients
Sales and revenue dashboard pulling from Stripe or PayPal
Email list growth tracker connected to your email platform
Ad performance dashboard for paid campaigns
Let me know if you try it!
Until next week,
Your Solopreneur Bestie,
Elena
