My Anti-LinkedIn Era, Claude Skills and Gemini 3 aka the Queen of all LLM's?
Three wildly different things that somehow point to the same shift
Hey there!
So what do my LinkedIn aversion, Claude Skills, and Google's new Gemini 3 model have in common?
They're all part of my week. And somehow they're all connected to this bigger shift happening right now.
Let me explain.
The Platform I Actually Hate
LinkedIn gives me the actual ick.
Every time I open it, I can feel my soul trying to leave my body.
My brain starts screaming “MAKE IT STOP”.
Every time I scroll past “I am humbled to announce…“ post, a little part of me dies.
The thought leadership posturing….
The humble brags disguised as vulnerability…
That corporate speak that makes absolutely everything sound the same…
Plus a ton of generic AI slop which strangely enough feels more refreshing than the real posts.
No wonder this subreddit exists and has nearly a million members!

Anyhow…I haven't posted on Linkedin in two years.
BUT! I have a solid following from my corporate AI days. And I'd be lying if I said I didn't want to show up and share what I'm building now - the educational content, the behind-the-scenes experiments, the actual things I care and want to talk about.
I just don't want to lead with "Thrilled to share..." followed by three paragraphs of corporate poetry about my journey. Or, god forbid, share a business lesson from my 5am morning routine.
So this week, I built a Claude Skill specifically for writing anti-cringe LinkedIn posts that don't make me want to crawl out of my skin.
The Tool I'm Pleasantly Surprised With
If you haven't heard about Claude Skills yet, here's the quick version: Anthropic rolled out this feature that lets you build specialized mini AI assistants (skills) for specific tasks. (you need a paid Claude account to use it)
You can tag them in any conversation you're having. Mid-research. Mid-strategy session. Mid-brainstorming.
It's like having a co-worker who shows up exactly when you need them, already knowing your preferences, your tone of voice and understands exactly what you want from them.
So I built my LinkedIn post writer Skill and gave it clear instructions how to avoid the contagious thought leadership Linkedin virus.
Then I took my latest newsletter, tagged the skill, and said: "Create a LinkedIn post from this."
The first draft was not perfect. I added more information to the skill, I asked it to do additional research and uploaded my tone of voice, which updated the skill automatically.
So now, every time I upload a long-form content I’ve created or share a voice note of what I want to talk about - I have my “Anti-Linkedin” Linkedin skill ready to go 😅🤓
I want to think through creating my original content. I enjoy working through ideas. But reformatting that same content for a platform I hate is just silly work standing between me and getting value in front of more people.
I recorded the whole process of building this skill in this Youtube video.
What You Could Build With This
Most solopreneurs & small businesses I know are drowning in repetitive tasks.
Claude Skills are perfect for this: tasks you do consistently but that aren't rigid enough for a Custom GPT.
Quick ideas:
Repurposing long-form content across platforms (like my LinkedIn skill)
Formatting anything into branded presentations (yes it can do it if you create a skill and upload your branded templates)
Creating client proposals & offers with your specific structure
Generating SOPs for team members
Course module creation if you're building educational content
How to build one:
Go to Settings → Capabilities → Skills in Claude
Try the "Skill Creator" skill (yes, meta, I know 😅)
Tell it what you want and what to avoid, upload any relevant context or knowledge files (your tone of voice, business description, process descriptions)
Let it generate a skill file
Download the file and upload it back to “Upload a Skill”
Test, refine, iterate

The Queen of all LLM’s?
Now for the thing that has me genuinely excited: Google just dropped Gemini 3.
Besides the fact that it beats other LLMs on pretty much every benchmark, this is what makes this interesting for solopreneurs:
Multimodal capabilities - It understands text, images, video, audio, and code together. Upload screenshots of your slides and get instant feedback. Show it a recording of your sales pitch and it'll analyze not just what you said, but your flow and delivery and suggests improvements. Upload a handwritten recipe in another language and it'll turn it into a shareable digital cookbook.
Vibe coding - Google's calling it their "best vibe coding model ever." You can build functioning websites, calculators, landing pages, or mini-apps without being a developer. Just describe what you want and it creates it. The UI it generates is actually incredible, still purple though.
Generative interfaces - Ask for travel recommendations and it spins up a website-like interface with images, modules, and interactive prompts. It designs custom UI on the fly based on what you need.
Deep Think mode - A reasoning mode for complex strategic work. Perfect for mapping offers, planning launches, modeling customer journeys, or redesigning workflows when you need to think things through deeply.
Google Antigravity - A new coding platform that lets you build complete applications just by describing them. It handles the editor, terminal, and browser all in one place.
What This All Means
So why am I telling you about LinkedIn, Claude skills and Gemini 3 in the same email?
We're at this inflection point where the friction between idea and execution is collapsing. We know that, that’s not new.
But it's not just about AI being able to do the work, it's that speed itself has become the competitive edge.
While someone's spending three months perfecting their website, you can build, test, and iterate on five different ideas.
Speed is the new moat.
What becomes important your relationship with AI is:
Know what to protect (your voice, your thinking, your POV)
Know what to delegate (the friction, the busy work, the technical barriers)
Keep experimenting instead of waiting for permission, waiting for funding or a new job.
This is why I am building a LinkedIn skill with Claude because I want my ideas on LinkedIn without the drain of being on LinkedIn.
Which let’s me have time to learn and explore the new opportunities for my business with Gemini 3 and act on them fast.
I remove friction and protect what matters.
Your move:
Pick one repetitive task or an opportunity you want to explore this week and either:
Build a Claude Skill for it
Test Gemini 3 on it
Both
Then hit reply and tell me what happened.
Until next week,
Your AI Solopreneur Bestie,
Elena
