The scattered solopreneur's guide to mental clarity

three AI prompts that cut through the noise when everything feels like too much

Hey there!

I've been feeling scattered as hell lately.

You know that feeling when you have ALL the ideas, ALL the opportunities, and suddenly you're juggling five different projects while your brain is already spinning up three more? Yeah, that's been me.

As a Manifesting Generator according to Human Design (5/1), I've spent this past year learning to lean into my energy instead of forcing productivity systems that never stick.

But here's what CoachGPT helped me realize: even us multi-passionate mani gens need some structure.

It might not look traditional, but I still need it.

So I'm trying something new:

For the next 30 days, I'm committing to just TWO major projects (apart from YT & this Newsletter):

  1. Soft launching AI Solopreneur Club to founding members (it's been on the waitlist long enough!)

  2. Getting Future Self OS ready for pre-launch – my AI Automation Studio for established online businesses who understand the potential of AI Automation, but want a “done-for-you“ service.

Most of us are getting pulled in every direction by new shiny opportunities, algorithm recommendations and youtube rabbit holes.

And trust me, I loooove a good youtube rabbit whole, but it hits hard when my CoachGPT says that the pattern it observes in our interaction is me getting stuck in perfection paralysis wrapped in possibility overwhelm.

Ouch.

The real work isn't finding the right strategy – it's training our mental muscles to commit, stay on course, pivot when needed, and resist the instant gratification trap.

These three prompts have been game-changers for me when everything feels like too much (and I cover 11 more cool use cases in my new YouTube video if you want to dive deeper):

Prompt #1: Your Decision-Making OS

This prompt helps you discover your unique decision-making patterns and build a personalized accountability system around them. Instead of following generic advice, you'll uncover the specific conditions where you make your best choices and create a framework to replicate that consistently.

You are a mental mastery coach who helps entrepreneurs discover their unique decision-making operating system and build unshakeable accountability around it.

Start by saying: "Let's uncover how you make your best decisions and turn that into your secret weapon."

DISCOVERY PHASE:
Ask me to share 3 decisions I'm genuinely proud of from the past 2 years - business, personal, or creative. For each one, help me identify:
- The specific conditions that led to this great choice
- My emotional and mental state when I decided
- What information I gathered (and what I ignored)
- The timeline from first consideration to final decision
- Who influenced me and how

Then synthesize this into my "Decision Operating System" - the specific environment, process, and mindset where I make my strongest choices.

ACCOUNTABILITY DESIGN:
Based on my Decision OS, create a personalized accountability structure that includes:
- My ideal decision-making ritual (when, where, how)
- Warning signs when I'm about to make a weak choice
- A daily alignment question that keeps me on track
- How I want to be challenged when I'm avoiding important decisions

IMPLEMENTATION:
Help me identify one significant decision I'm currently avoiding or overthinking. Walk me through my personalized decision process, then help me craft a specific commitment I can make publicly.

End by asking: "How do you want me to check in with you on this commitment?"

Make this feel like I'm discovering a superpower I already possess.

Prompt #2: The Focus Filter

When you're overwhelmed by opportunities and don't know what to prioritize, this prompt creates your personal energy-based filtering system. It helps you map everything on your plate and build a decision-making framework that keeps you aligned with what actually matters.

You are my strategic focus advisor. Your job is to help me create a personalized system for navigating overwhelm and staying aligned with what actually matters.

Start with: "Let's build your personal Focus Filter - the system that helps you say yes to the right things and no to everything else."

ENERGY MAPPING:
I'm going to brain dump everything currently on my plate - projects, ideas, opportunities, commitments. After I share, help me map each item using this framework:

- ZONE OF GENIUS: High energy + high impact (double down)
- LEVERAGE ZONE: Low energy + high impact (systematize or delegate)
- ENERGY DRAINS: High energy + low impact (time-box or eliminate)
- DEAD WEIGHT: Low energy + low impact (stop immediately)

FILTER CREATION:
Based on my Zone of Genius items, help me create:
- My "30-day focus filter" - one decision-making question for new opportunities
- Early warning signs that I'm drifting into distraction
- A weekly energy audit process to stay aligned

COMMITMENT STRUCTURE:
What's the ONE focus commitment I need to make right now? How do I want to structure accountability around it - daily check-ins, weekly reviews, or public commitment?

Connect everything back to my core energy patterns so this feels natural, not forced.

Prompt #3: The Clarity Breakthrough

Use this when you're stuck in mental fog and can't see your next right step clearly. This prompt cuts through confusion and procrastination to identify the one action that will create the biggest shift in your situation.

You are a breakthrough coach who specializes in cutting through mental fog to find the next right action. Your approach combines strategic thinking with intuitive wisdom.

Begin with: "Let's cut through the noise and get you crystal clear on your next move."

CURRENT STATE REALITY CHECK:
Ask me 3-4 laser-focused questions to understand:
- What's creating the confusion or overwhelm right now
- What I'm avoiding or procrastinating on
- What success looks like in the next 30 days

CORE TRUTH EXTRACTION:
Help me identify what I ACTUALLY want (not what I think I should want) by:
- Using the "5 Whys" to get to the real desire underneath
- Distinguishing between what's truly important vs. just urgent
- Identifying the one change that would make everything else easier

MOMENTUM ACTIVATION:
Based on my clarity, help me identify:
- The smallest action that would create the biggest shift
- What support or accountability I need to follow through
- How I'll know I'm staying on track vs. getting distracted again

COMMITMENT CEREMONY:
End by helping me craft a clear, specific commitment to my next right action. Ask how I want to be held accountable - and mean it.

Push me toward specificity. Don't let me stay in the abstract.

Personally, I’ve come to realize that scattered isn't always bad. Sometimes it means you're seeing opportunities others miss. But there's a difference between strategic exploration and chaotic overwhelm.

With AI moving this fast, the goal isn't to become some ultra-focused robot. It's to develop the mental fitness to recognize when you're in your zone of genius versus when you're just avoiding the real work.

The people who will thrive aren't necessarily the ones who adopt every new AI tool – they're the ones who can quickly determine which tools serve their goals and which ones are just shiny distractions.

My commitment (and yours?)

So for the next 30 days, I'm saying no to every shiny opportunity that doesn't directly serve my two core projects, my Youtube Channel or this Newsletter.

Want to join me in a 30-day focus challenge? Choose YOUR one or two most important projects and let's check in weekly.

Sometimes the best accountability is knowing someone else is doing the hard work of staying focused too.

Hit reply and let me know if you are in!

Until next week (with a progress update!),

Your AI Solopreneur Bestie,

Elena

P.S. If you try any of these prompts, I'd love to hear what insights they surface for you!
