The Win-Win-Win of Learning AI Together with Kids
plus Gemini 3 Pro and actual solopreneur use cases!
Hey there,
So last week was insane in the AI world with all the model releases, so this week was perfect to get to work and test all the newbies.
I've spent waaaaaay too much time playing with it Gemini 3 this week.
IMO, the coolest thing about this release isn't even the business use cases (though I'll get to those in a second). It's that it's free, it's incredibly powerful, and it's the perfect way to learn AI in fun and creative ways.
win-win-win-win….!
Let's say your kid has a school project about the life cycle of a frog. Or they're obsessed with the universe and stars. Or literally anything they're curious about.
Go to Google Gemini and ask it to create an interactive learning experience about that topic.
What happens?
It'll either build an interactive educational tool or create an actual game they can play. Right there. In minutes.
Why this matters:
For you: You just "vibe coded" something. Congrats! You're not intimidated by AI anymore. You literally watched something get built from a simple prompt.
For your kid: They're learning in a way that's actually fun. Not just reading about frogs but interacting with the information, exploring it, playing with it.
For both of you: You're spending quality time together creating something instead of just consuming. You're learning together, building together, figuring out how this technology works together.
This creates bonds. This removes fear. This makes technology feel exciting instead of overwhelming.
If you have kids, seriously, use this as an opportunity to play around with Gemini together. You'll both learn more than you expect.
what about the use cases
I made a full video walking through what I've been testing with Gemini 3, that you can watch here and here are the highlights:
Interactive lead magnets: I built fully functional quizzes in under 5 minutes. The kind that actually generate personalized outputs for people, not just static PDFs. Things like "What's Your AI Readiness Score?" or tools that help people create their custom tone of voice prompts.
Professional product photography: Took a simple coffee mug photo and asked for an editorial magazine-style shoot. Got results I could actually use for e-commerce or digital products. Even tested it with my own photo, asked it to keep my face the same but change the environment, so it looks like professional photoshoot. It did.
Infographics from articles: Fed it content, asked for visual summaries in specific styles. The text was actually readable and accurate. No weird AI-ness. This is huge for repurposing content.
Customizable AI assistant: There's a settings feature where you tell Gemini who you are and what you do, and it remembers. Like ChatGPT's memory, but may be less powerful right now. Makes every interaction more relevant to your actual business.
If you want to see these in action, the full walkthrough Youtube video is here.
sneaky learning mode
The best way to learn any tool isn't to watch tutorials or take courses. It's to build something that matters to you, something that solves that thing that bothers you, something aesthetic, something weird!
Maybe that's a lead magnet for your business. Maybe that's a learning game for your kid. Maybe it's just experimenting to see what's possible.
But the point is: stop being intimidated. Start playing. These tools accessible (and you can start for free), and the only way they stop feeling overwhelming is when you actually use them.
try this week
Pick one:
If you have kids: Open Google Gemini together and build an interactive learning experience about something they're curious about (make sure to enable Canvas and Thinking). See what happens.
If you're building a business: Take your most common customer question and turn it into an interactive quiz or calculator. Use Gemini to build it.
If you just want to play: Pick any topic you're interested in and ask Gemini to create something interactive about it. Get comfortable with the tool.
Then tell me what you end up building!
Until next week,
Your Solopreneur Bestie
